RDA to float three Maga Neguma companies

The Government is to set up three Maga Neguma companies under the Road Development Authority.

Last week Cabinet approved a proposal made by the President, in his capacity as the Minister of Ports and Highways, for the establishment of three companies.

Maga Neguma Construction Equipment Company Ltd. will provide construction equipment and machinery to those engaged in the road sector development, on recovery of hire charges, and to undertake and complete road construction works not exceeding Rs. 100 million awarded by the RDA.

Maga Neguma Emulsion Production Company Ltd. will undertake manufacture of emulsion, pre-mix, etc. and supply same for road sector development works.

Maga Neguma Consultancy and Management Company Ltd. will provide consultancy services for the preparation of bills of quantities, project proposals, etc.
