Global property portal Lamudi will host a conference for the real estate industry in Sri Lanka on 11 December at the BMICH. The local conference is part of a worldwide series of events being held in the countries Lamudi is present in, during the months of November and December across: Asia, the Middle East, Latin America and Africa, with speakers from some of the top real estate agencies and firms in the regions. The conference in Sri Lanka will consist of a review of the global white paper research, expert presentations and a panel discussion on the growth of the real estate industry. Furthermore, it will accommodate top developers, real estate agents and several professionals from related industries as speakers. The conference in Sri Lanka will see the presence of several industry professionals and investors and focus on how real estate is changing in the emerging markets. It will discuss the findings of a white paper, researched and authored by Lamudi in consultation with real estate industry leaders and highlight local and international trends in the real estate market. The white paper will focus on the property industry in these markets: how it has changed over the last year, and future predictions for 2015. By speaking to top real estate professionals, and surveying developers, brokers, agents, as well as customers, the company has developed a research paper that ensures that countries understand to what extent the real estate market is developing across the world. Kian Moini, Co-Founder and Managing Director at Lamudi, commented on the company’s global event, “After spending the last couple of months working on the white paper, we realised that the best way to share this information with the local countries was through a conference.” “We want to ensure that our knowledge on the future of real estate in the emerging markets educates not just our clients but current and future customers too. We are lucky to have the opportunity to be present in over 27 countries worldwide, which means we have a great deal of local market knowledge. For us, it is important to share this with stakeholders globally.” Well-recognised property developer and a frontier in prime real estate, Prime Lands Group, is the key sponsor of the conference scheduled to be held in Sri Lanka. In addition, leading cement manufacturer, Holcim Lanka and top provider of lighting solutions, Bright Lighting Ltd. are co-sponsors of the event.
