'Reaping of peace dividend hasn’t happened fast enough'

Ceylon Chamber of Commerce new Chairman Susantha Ratnayake who is also head of the premier blue chip JKH, yesterday opined that reaping of peace dividend hasn’t happened fast enough.

“Having achieved this hard won peace, it is now up to all of us to ensure that the country reaps the peace dividend. Personally, I am disappointed that it has not happened fast enough,” Ratnayake told the Ceylon Chamber Annual General Meeting.

“The Chamber has a critical role to play to ensure that we do not miss this opportunity,” he added.
