Cabinet spokesman Minister Rajitha Senaratne yesterday said the Government has decided to annul the contract of $ 85 million relating to the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) runway overlay and related work since it had been revealed that this contract had been awarded without following a competitive and transparent tender procedure.
