The Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) yesterday said that they would have their All-Island Convention on 16 March where they would talk about the current political issues prevailing in the country.
SLFP Youth Front Leader Shantha Bandara told Daily FT that this meeting would take place at the Sri Lanka Foundation Institute (SLFI) on Monday at 5.00 p.m. under the leadership of the President and SLFP Chairman Maithripala Sirisena.
“At this meeting the SLFP plans to discuss the SLFP May Day rally and current political matters such as the National Government and the implementation of constitutional amendments. All of the SLFP’s electoral organisers and Parliamentarians will be present at the occasion,” Bandara said.
