South Asian Investment Conference today

The South Asian Investment Conference (SAIC) organised by the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) in association with the South Asian Federation of Exchanges (SAFE), will take place today (27) at the Galadari Hotel, Colombo. Minister of Finance Ravi Karunanayake, Deputy Minister of Policy Planning, Economic Affairs, Child, Youth and Cultural Affairs Dr. Harsha De Silva, Securities and Exchange Commission of Sri Lanka Chairman Tilak Karunaratne and Colombo Stock Exchange Chairman Vajira Kulatilaka will address the audience at the inaugural ceremony. South Asian Federation of Exchanges Chairman Dr. Muhammad Abdul Mazid and SAFE Secretary General Aftab Ahmed will also attend the inaugural ceremony and feature presentations in the technical sessions. Representatives from the diplomatic core will also be present for the inaugural ceremony. The conference will see the participation of a host of international technology partners, collaborating together with regional exchanges to discuss the potential of leveraging technology in order to better secure and execute capital market operations. The technical sessions will be attended by representatives from a host of regional Exchanges, will feature presentations by Thomson Reuters, Millenium IT part of the London Stock Exchange Group and NASDAQ. “MillenniumIT is proud to be a partner of this year’s SAIC conference.
