Sri Lanka and China are pals in ‘corrupt’ list!

Whilst Sri Lanka was ranked number 79 in the latest Global Corruption Perception Index, immediately below is China at number 80.

Relations between the two countries are at their best whilst the companionship in the list may be just a coincidence. However, there are two more countries also ranked at number 80 Serbia and Trinidad and Tobago.

Last year China was ranked better at 76 and 2012 slot shows corruption has worsened there. Ahead of Sri Lanka last year was Serbia whilst Bosnia, Trinidad and Tobago, Liberia and Zambia were all ranked at 91.
