SriLankan Holidays launches booking engine

SriLankan Holidays unveiled its booking engine, which enables customers to book SriLankan Holiday Packages online through the SriLankan Airlines website.

The site presently offers customers holiday packages to the airline’s online points encompassing the airfare and hotel accommodation. Value added services such as ground transfers, car hire, expeditions, travel insurance, and concert tickets will also be available in the near future.

The first SriLankan holidays online booking package was purchased on 2 January 2013. The passengers, Professor Nandalal and his wife and two daughters, chose to travel to Singapore for a four-day vacation from 15 to 19 January.

They were pleasantly surprised at the Bandaranaike International Airport when SriLankan Airlines staff escorted them to the Serendib Lounge, following a speedy check-in, and presented gifts and flowers to welcome them.
