The Tripartite Committee has recommended compensation to all vehicle owners who suffered losses recently by using contaminated fuel distributed to stations by the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC).
It has also recommended that the financial losses suffered by the CPC to be claimed from the fuel supplying company.
The report on the contaminated petrol issue was handed over to the Minister of Petroleum Industries, Susil Premajayanth yesterday by the Chairman of the Committee M.M. Ferdinando.
