Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the United Republic of Tanzania Bernard K. Membe will be on a bilateral visit to Sri Lanka from 20 to 22 July.
A bilateral meeting between Minister of External Affairs Prof. G.L.Peiris and the Tanzanian Minister of Foreign Affairs will take place on 21 July at the External Affairs Ministry.
Two agreements, one on the Establishment of a Joint Commission on Cooperation and the other on Bilateral Political Consultations, will be signed by the two Ministers.
An MoU on Sustainable Coconut Research and Development will also be signed between the Minister of Coconut Development and Janatha Estate of Sri Lanka and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tanzania on Monday (21).
On Monday evening a joint press briefing by the two Foreign Ministers will be held. The visiting Tanzanian Foreign Minister is due to depart on Tuesday morning.
