Thonda calls it quits?

Minister of Livestock and Rural Community Development and Ceylon Workers’ Congress leader Arumugam Thondaman has submitted his resignation from the Government yesterday, sources within the party said.

However at the time this edition went to print it was claimed that President Mahinda Rajapaksa hasn’t accepted the resignation.
