Top 7 to get Business Excellence Awards

The Institute of Certified Professional Managers promoting the CPM qualification in Sri Lanka will today confer seven distinguished personalities with Business Excellence Awards.

They are business leaders Aban Pestonjee, Dhammika Perera, Hemaka Amarasuriya, Merril J. Fernando, Sohlie Captain, Mineka Wickramasingha and S.P. Tao.

The institute said these personalities have been able to make their vision a reality for their companies, driving growth, success and profitability. Some of the qualities, including innovation, community service, brand building, diversification, and management skills, as well as the leader’s ability to formulate strategies and capitalise on key trends, are other key criteria that have been considered in granting the award.

The CPM is an initiative of CMA Sri Lanka.
