Top public, private sector insights at Daily FT Budget Forum on 28 Oct.

A good mix of public and private sector insights on the Government’s 2015 Budget will be shared at a forum organised by Daily FT-Colombo University MBA Alumni Association on Tuesday 28 October from 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Galadari Hotel Ballroom. Secretary to Ministry of Finance and Planning Dr. P.B. Jayasundera will be the Chief Guest and in his keynote will highlight the strategic thrust of Budget 2015, which is expected to be a landmark one. The 2015 Budget will be presented by President and Minister of Finance Mahinda Rajapaksa today. Senior officials of Finance Ministry and Inland Revenue as well as Sri Lanka Customs will be present as well. The Forum will also see highly-respected senior economist Prof. W.D. Lakshman, who is also Professor Emeritus, University of Colombo, sharing his perspective on the Budget 2015. Other speakers include Cargills (Ceylon) Plc Deputy Chairman Ranjit Page, hSenid Software International Chairman Dinesh Saparamadu and PricewaterhouseCoopers Director Tax Services Charmaine Tillekeratne. This is the fifth post-Budget forum jointly organised by the Daily FT and Colombo University MBAA and past events have drawn record crowd given new insights shared and interesting format.
