A meeting chaired by Secretary to the Treasury and Ministry of Finance and Planning Dr. P.B. Jayasundera was held at the Auditorium of the Ministry of Finance and Planning yesterday to discuss issues and proposals pertaining to the Small and Medium Entrepreneurs (SMEs). Over 100 SMEs from all districts participated this meeting representing different sectors and discussion was focused on their proposals for the forthcoming Budget. Issues faced by them and the remedial actions to be taken were also discussed at length. Secretaries of Line Ministries and Officials of Ministry of Finance also participated at this meeting.
