World football chief visits jaffna, calls on President Rajapaksa

The President of the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) Joseph S. Blatter yesterday called on President Mahinda Rajapaksa at Temple Trees and the duo discussed ways in which Sri Lanka can create more enthusiasm for the sport of football among youth. Blatter yesterday visited Jaffna to open the Jaffna Football Training Facility which the Football Federation of Sri Lanka described as a testament to national reconciliation.
