3rd annual BMW golf tournament a hole-in-one

The third instalment of the annual BMW Golf Tournament, sponsored by Prestige Automobile Ltd., was held at the Royal Colombo Golf Club on 26 October 2013. The most sought-after event in the Sri Lanka golfing calendar saw participants in the BMW Golf Cup International Open category and the BMW Owners’ category vie for wins and a chance to represent the country at the world final to be held in Phuket, Thailand. Winners in the BMW Golf Cup International Open category received a fully-sponsored golfing holiday to Phuket, Thailand, while winners in the BMW Owners’ category were awarded a fully-sponsored stay and business class travel to Phuket, Thailand, to take part in the world final with 48 other countries. The tournament concluded with an awards ceremony and reception.
