The 56th National Day of Malaysia was celebrated at the Hotel Hilton Colombo recently. Senior Minister for Scientific Affairs Prof. Tissa Vitarana was the Chief Guest. High Commissioner of Malaysia in Sri Lanka Azmi Zainuddin, Senior Minister A.H.M. Fowzie, Parliamentarian A.H.M. Azwer, members of the diplomatic community and representatives of Muslim organisations also participated at this event
