Staying true to its yearly tradition, Park Street Mews, the city’s destination venue for food, retail fashion and events was recently lit up to mark the start of the festive season in Colombo. Guest of honour Kumar Sangakkara sparked off proceedings by lighting up the entire street, revealing a glittery “starry, starry night” inspired theme, brought to life by a plethora of colourful stars, fairy lights and sparkling décor with a touch of frosty blue. Tanuja Perera, along with her retinue of little elves performed an array of well-loved carols, Santa Claus brought in his touch of merriment, and a mulled wine cart offering a traditional brew added to the ambiance of this special evening – Pix by Shehan Gunasekara
