Poson celebrations

Wijeya Newspapers illuminated the historic Thanthirimale Rajamaha Vihara Chaithya to celebrate the Poson weekend. This was the 16th consecutive occasion that Wijeya Newspapers illuminated the historic site. Several other ceremonies were also held to celebrate Poson including students from 11 Sunday schools joining in singing ‘Bakthi Gee’ at the Rajamaha Vihara. They were presented with certificates and prizes by Wijeya Newspapers. Megapolis and Western Development Minister Champika Ranawaka, Agriculture Minister P.
