SL holds first leg 20th edition of ‘Raid Amazones’

The first leg of the 20th edition of ‘Raid Amazones’, the world’s biggest female adventure challenge, was held in Sri Lanka.

Raid Amazones is an annual adventure trail originating from France that features female athletes competing in numerous challenges including riding, running, orienteering, mountain biking, canoeing, archery and others. This is Raid Amazones third visit to the country, and this year’s event took place at Sigiriya in two groups of over 250 each due to a record number of participants. 

The first leg took place from 14 March over nine days.
