The Standard Chartered Golf Tournament 2017, held exclusively for its Corporate and Priority Banking clients, teed off at the Victoria Golf and Country Resort, Digana. Harsha Abeywickrema emerged the Men’s Low Gross Winner, while Niloo Jayatilleke carried away the overall Ladies’ Champion Trophy. Other winners included Dayananda Hewawasam (the longest drive – men), Roshini Sangani (the longest drive – women), Harin Udeshi (Category A), Sunimal Salgado (Category B), and Suresh Perera (Category C).

Standard Chartered Chief Executive Officer Jim McCabe handed out the awards. Once again the greens played host to a beautiful Mercedes Benz, this year a C Class Coupe, generously offered by DIMO, which regrettably remained unclaimed as the prize for the ‘hole-in-one’.
