The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) hosted an evening of fellowship for partners from the public sector, private sector, academia, civil society and UN agencies, to commemorate the organisation’s 9th Country Program Cycle in Sri Lanka. As the UN’s reproductive health and rights agency, UNFPA strives to deliver a world where every pregnancy is wanted, every childbirth is safe, and every young person’s potential is fulfilled. In Sri Lanka, UNFPA delivers this mandate by advancing policies relating to women, youth, and the elderly, and by advocating for decision-making based on population data and dynamics – Pix by Upul Abayasekara
