A day of tremors and panic

After a massive earthquake measuring 8.7 hit the nearby Indonesian island of Banda Aceh, Sri Lanka issued a countrywide tsunami warning yesterday, asking residents on the coastal belt to move to higher ground. Tremors were reported in Colombo and many offices in the city were evacuated –
