Emirates greets agents with ‘Ahoy there!’

Emirates recently treated some of the airline’s top travel agents to a colourful cocktail and dinner while ‘cruising’ Colombo’s Beira Lake aboard ‘8 Degrees On The Lake,’ the swank floating restaurant of Cinnamon Lakeside. Organised to celebrate the launch in September of Emirates flights to Washington DC, the award-winning airline’s seventh gateway in the USA, the event themed ‘Ahoy there!’ evoked imagery of the days of the Mississippi Riverboats, with costumed models, fantasy lighting and period music.
