Empowering students at “HNB Diri Daru” Scholarship Awards

Hatton National Bank PLC conducted the “HNB Diri Daru” scholarship award ceremony recently at the BMICH. Over 750 young students were awarded scholarships worth Rs. 7 million at the ceremony. The presentation of these scholarships was made under the auspices of Jonathan Alles, (Managing Director /CEO) and Guest of Honour Emeritus Prof. Deshamanya J. B. Disanayake and the corporate management of HNB. Students from all parts of the island were honoured for their academic and extra-Curricular achievements, with the presence of school principals, educators and parents.

HNB has been conducting their scholarship award programme for the last six years and more recently under the brand ‘Diri Daru’ for the second consecutive year.
