‘Horton Plains’ book launch

‘Horton Plains’ the book edited by Rohan Pethiyagoda, a Sri Lankan scientist currently residing in Australia, aims to bring out the rich biological heritage uncovered in the area by researchers over the years. Tokyo Power, a biomass power unit of Tokyo Cement Plc., is sponsoring the book including 300 copies to school libraries in Sri Lanka. Ambassador of Japan to Sri Lanka Nobuhito Hobo was the Chief Guest at the book launching ceremony held in Colombo Hilton recently.
