The two-day HSBC Colombo Fashion Week Resort Wear Show came to an end last night after hours of exciting and inspiring fashion by Sri Lanka’s very own talented designers as well as two highly-acclaimed international designers – Bibi Russell and Jason and Anshu. The Daily FT brings to you Day 1 of the fashion show held at the historic Galle Fort on Saturday, infusing old charm with contemporary design and trends in today’s edition. Kicking off the resort wear show with Colombo Jewellery Stores launching a special limited edition collection ‘Cock-a-doodle-do’ and the TAG Heuer watches, the evening unveiled some interesting designs and beautiful fashion amidst great music and high spirits.
