Labouring for life!

International Workers’ Day mostly known as May Day is a traditional celebration of the international labour movement celebrated every year on 1 May. Many street demonstrations and marches by the working people and their labour unions are organised.

The United People’s Freedom Alliance is preparing to mark May Day today, with the working masses on a grand scale. More than one million labourers and working people are expected to participate in the UPFA May Day Rally representing the Sri Lanka Freedom Party and other alliance parties.
