Key political figures from what has been a very dramatic campaign saga converged at their respective polling stations yesterday to cast their vote for the country’s next president. Prominent among them were the election’s two main candidates, incumbent President Mahinda Rajapaksa and the Opposition’s common candidate Maithripala Sirisena.
