‘Maathra’ masterpiece in cultural dancing at Lyceum schools

‘Maathra’ is the cultural dancing festival of the group of Lyceum International Schools in Sri Lanka, which consists of eight schools spread throughout Sri Lanka. Nearly 500 artistes from Lyceum Nugegoda, Panadura, Wattala, Ratnapura, Campaha and Nuwara Eliya performed on stage on 8 October at the BMICH. This flagship event in performing arts continued for the ninth consecutive year. ‘Maathra’ has helped improve the cultural dancing skills and associated creative abilities of Lyceum students and has created a passion for cultural dancing across the 17,000-strong student populations of Lyceum International schools
