Mercmarine hosts German biz delegation

Mercmarine, a reputed German-Sri Lankan maritime group of companies, hosted a business delegation headed by the German Parliamentary State Secretary of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, Uwe Beckmeyer, recently at Bohnen House, the corporate headquarters of Mercmarine. The business delegation came to Sri Lanka on a fact-finding mission to explore business opportunities in Sri Lanka and over 30 members represented this delegation covering a wide variety of business sectors such as energy, automotive spares, pharmaceuticals and investments, etc.

Mercmarine Group of Companies CEO Thomas Kriwat was a key facilitator and an organising member of the visit. The occasion was well-attended by the business community in Sri Lanka including the German-Sri Lankan Business Council - Pix by Upul Abayasekera
