Political heavyweights vote

UNP leader, Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe, cast his vote at College House, Colombo while the United People’s Freedom Alliance’s Kurunegala District candidate, former president Mahinda Rajapksa, voted at the Madamulana voting station. Meanwhile, JVP leader Anura Kumara Dissanayaka voted at the Panchikawatte Abayasinharamaya.

Along with these party stalwarts, several other

candidates from major political parties were seen casting their ballot
