The Sri Lanka-Australia-New Zealand Business Council (SLANZBC) President Lionel D.C. Silva along with SLANZBC Committee members met New Zealand Prime Minister John Key when he visited Sri Lanka recently.
The Prime Minister speaking to the business community referred to new bilateral opportunities and said: “Our commercial ties have expanded well beyond the traditional dairy links to other sectors such as food and beverage, aviation, education, specialised manufacturing and the creative industries.” The visit of the Kiwi delegation in November saw the signing of two commercial deals during the event.
The SLANZBC members had the opportunity to be in attendance and interact with the high-powered delegation. SLANZBC is the bilateral arm of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce.
