Sri Lanka marks third anniversary of war victory

Today Sri Lanka marks the third year anniversary of the ending of the conflict that gripped this country for three decades. The LTTE – the most ruthless terrorist organisation in the world – was destroyed by Sri Lanka’s armed forces under the guidance and direction of Defence Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa, with the political leadership of President Mahinda Rajapaksa.
