Sri Lanka was colourfully illuminated for Vesak celebrations, with pandals, lanterns and dansals in every nook and corner. This Vesak, marked as a special one as Buddhists all over the world celebrated 2,600 years since the enlightenment of Lord Buddha, saw special celebrations being hosted all over the country
