Vintage galore

A vintage car rally in honour of the President of Federation Internationale de ‘l Automobile Jean Todt was held yesterday down Green Path, Colombo 7. The event was organised by the Automobile Association of Ceylon and Lucas automotive batteries.

A large number of vintage cars were showcased at the event. A vintage car is commonly defined as a car built between the start of 1919 and the end of 1930, known as the ‘Vintage era’ – Pix by Dinuka Liyanawatte
