The ground-breaking ceremony for the much talked about Volkswagen vehicle assembly plant was held yesterday in Kuliyapitiya under the patronage of both President Maithripala Sirisena and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe and a number of other dignitaries in attendance.
