14th annual Service of Carols by Merry An Singers on 3 December

Two months after the memorable sounds produced by a 50-voiced choir and overflowing congregation in ‘A Feast of Hymns’ the Merry An Singers now present their 14th annual Service of Carols at the Christian Reformed Church Galle Road, Wellawatte at 7 p.m. on 3 December.

Director Mary Anne David has that flair and innovation that lifts the service to being an evening ‘extraordinaire’ with special choral Christmas arrangements interspersed with the ever well-loved congregational carols.

 Every year many of their renditions are those that have never been sung before and worship becomes a vibrant celebration of the birth of Christ in song.
