Digital photography is now dominating the industry across the world since of late and understanding the need to keep up with the trend, the National Photographic Art Society of Sri Lanka, in the 16th International Exhibition of Photography 2013 which was officially inaugurated yesterday, has switched from print to digital image files. This move proved to be widely popular and was embraced by lovers of photographic art around the world, which was seen by the staggering amount of entries received for this year’s exhibition – 3,291 digital images from 27 countries.
