Bringing you the magic of Christmas in song, the Terrace at Cinnamon Lakeside – the premier urban resort – comes alive on 22 December from 7 to 8 p.m. with the soothing tones of the highly acclaimed Metho-Cantanti Choir as they warm your heart and soul with family Christmas tunes.

Metho Cantanti is the official past pupils’ choir of Methodist College Colombo and is directed by Anagi Perera and Manique Abeyratne. It was formed in 2010 as the ‘Methodist College Old Girls’ choir’ under the direction of Anagi Perera, and was renamed ‘Metho Cantanti’ in 2012.

The choir has garnered a wide repertoire of Sacred and Secular music including Classical, Gospel, Broadway and Pop, which they have performed at several venues around the country and their repertoire includea compositions by Mozart, Mendelssohn, Rutter, Rouwkema and David Goodall to name a few.

The evening promises well known Christmas songs and carols so you can sing along while enjoying special seasonal treats, minced pies, mulled wine and Christmas cake which make up the perfect accompaniments to a festive evening filled with song.
