Action thriller Jigra in nine Lankan cinemas

The Indian Hindi-language action thriller Jigra (Courage) began screening in nine cinemas across Sri Lanka yesterday.

These include Regal – Katubedda, Chaya Premiere – Kegalle, Majestic – Colombo, Colombo City Centre, SCOPE Cinema – Havelock City Mall, Liberty by SCOPE – Colombo, Liberty by SCOPE – Kiribathgoda, PVR Cinemas, and Kandy City Centre.

Jigra tells the story of a sister who will go to extreme lengths to protect her brother. The movie is directed by Vasan Bala, who co-wrote it with Debashish Irengbam. The cast includes Alia Bhatt, Vedang Raina, and Akansha Ranjan Kapoor.
