The ‘Chinese Style’ international tour of modern Chinese water-ink paintings exhibition is being held from 25 October to 3 November (10 a.m. to 4 p.m.) at the China Cultural Center in Sri Lanka, No. 5, Independence Avenue, Colombo 07. The exhibition is hosted by the China Cultural Center in Sri Lanka and China National Academy of paintings in association with Art News of China and Central Digital TV Chinese art Channel with the guidance of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Sri Lanka. This unique exhibition is hosting some of the modern paintings of Chinese style crafted with water and ink, a specialty with the Chinese paintings. The exhibits will be a new experience for visitors and the China Cultural Center invites art-loving Sri Lankans to enjoy and capture the progress of the modern art of Chinese origin at this exhibition. The exhibition is free to the public. The China Cultural Center with the kind courtesy of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Colombo has organised this initiative as part of the National Day Ceremonies of the People’s Republic of China which is being held in the months of September and October
