American animated adventure comedy film “Migration” is being now shown in 13 cinemas in Sri Lanka.
They are Colombo City Centre, PVR Cinema, Kandy City Centre, Liberty by Scope – Kollupitiya, Liberty by Scope – Kiribathgoda, Majestic City, Regal Gampaha, Regal Katubedda, Regal Bandarawela, Vista Lite, Maxx Lite, Milano Diamond and Sky Lights – Malabe.
Migration is produced by Illumination and distributed by Universal Pictures. The film was directed by Benjamin Renner, co-directed by Guylo Homsy, and produced by Chris Meledandri, from a screenplay written by Mike White and a story by White and Renner.
It stars the voices of Kumail Nanjiani, Elizabeth Banks, Keegan-Michael Key, Awkwafina, and Danny DeVito. The story follows a family of mallards who try to convince their overprotective father to go on a vacation of a lifetime and attempt to migrate from New England, through New York City, to Jamaica. A family of ducks decides to leave the safety of a New England pond for an adventurous trip to Jamaica. However, their well-laid plans quickly go awry when they get lost and wind up in New York City. The experience soon inspires them to expand their horizons, open themselves up to new friends, and accomplish more than they ever thought possible.
