The China Cultural Center in Sri Lanka in collaboration with the China Artistic Photography Society, Photographic Society, the Photographic Society of Sri Lanka and the Beijing Ceylon Cultural Development Co., Ltd. is holding a special photography exhibition, ‘International Photography Competition Outstanding Works Exhibition,’ from 15 March to 14 April. The exhibition is open to the public with free entrance from a.m. to 4 p.m. every day till 14 April at The China Cultural Center, No. 5, Independence Avenue, Colombo 7. The exhibition was opened by Li Peng, Project Officer of China Cultural Center in Sri Lanka, Wang Jianqi and Vice President of the China Artistic Photography Society along with Zeng Yi, Executive Chairman, Silk Road Photographic Organization International Alliance and Romesh De silva, President of the Photographic Society of Sri Lanka. The works of the exhibition are the prize-winning photographs of the ‘Silk Road Youth International Photography Competition,’ the first international youth photography competition with the theme of countries along the Silk Road. The competition brought together excellent photography works of young people from all over the world. The Competition Working Committee received submissions from a total of 52 countries and regions. The China Cultural Center in Sri Lanka believes that the ‘International Photography Competition Outstanding Works Exhibition’ would bring the Sri Lanka and Chinese people closer to each other
