‘Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’ premieres in Sri Lanka

‘Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’ premiered in Sri Lanka on Thursday at a special viewing at Scope Cinemas, a day after its world premiere on 6 June. The movie, which is the fifth in the Jurassic Park franchise and the second in touted Jurassic World trilogy – a third film is tentatively scheduled for 2021 – sees Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard reprise their roles as Claire Dearing and Owen Grady. ‘Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’ picks up three years after the events of Jurassic world when dinosaurs took over the park and see them roaming freely on Isla Nublar. However, with a volcano eruption threatening their existence on the island, Claire, the former operations manager for the Jurassic World theme park, organises the Dinosaur Protection Group in order to evacuate the surviving dinosaurs.
