Rúpa, is a captivating group exhibition showcasing a diverse collection of original artwork by ten exceptionally talented Sri Lankan artists. This unique exhibition celebrates the fusion of imagination and reality, offering viewers a glimpse into the creative minds of both emerging and established artists who have mastered the art of blending styles, genres, and techniques to create great works of art. Their paintings and sculptures will be on view at Sky Gallery of The Fareed Uduman Art Forum.
Opening on 26 March, Rúpa features the works of Prageeth Rathnayake, Prasadani Kumari, Prabhani Amandika, Sanjaya Gunarathna, Dhanushka Ariyarathna, Avanthi Jayasinghe, Thusitha Leelarathna, Vimukthi Samaraweera, Rajitha Perera, and Dinesh Perera. Each artist brings their unique perspective and artistic voice to the exhibition, creating a rich tapestry of themes and emotions that will resonate with art lovers.
From thought-provoking paintings to intricately crafted sculptures, the artworks on display reflect the artists’ deep connection to their cultural roots while exploring universal themes of identity, nature, and human experience. Thematically rich and visually stunning, Rúpa invites viewers to embark on a journey through a world where reality is reimagined through the lens of creativity.

The exhibition will run from 26 to 30 March at the Sky Gallery, Colombo 5. Art enthusiasts, collectors, and the general public are invited to attend the opening on 26 March at 6:30 p.m., where they can meet the artists and experience their works first-hand.
