‘Secret Vows,’ an exhibition by Chathurika Jayani was held from 15 February to 27 February at Art Space. “Their shapes and colours overlap and stand out against serene and peaceful backdrops, and they are used as a symbol of a vow or prayer for a better future by those visiting the temples. The beauty of this symbol to me is the mysticism of the prayer and the oblivion of those who look on to admire their presence. The flag holds a strong meaning to one individual alone, the person who suspends it in the temple grounds,” she said.
