The Kingsbury is offering an opportunity to celebrate the rich traditions and flavours of Thai Pongal with vibrant Thai Pongal Buffet at Harbour Court on 14 January.
There will be on offer tantalising aromas of over 80 authentic South Indian dishes, crafted by esteemed Indian chefs.
The feast will feature a Special Pongal Station, where both sweet and savoury Pongals, including the traditional Sakkarai Pongal and Khara Pongal, will take centre stage. An exciting Pani Poori Station will tempt your taste buds with an array of mouth-watering options like Chana Chaat, Aloo Chaat, and Bhel Puri. Enjoy a colourful Beeda Corner, showcasing a variety of sweet Beedas, adding an authentic touch.
The buffet also includes a stunning array of vegetarian specials such as Malabar Avial, Ennai Kathirikai, and Vadai Curry, paired beautifully with fragrant rice dishes like Chettinad Biryani and Paneer Biryani. For those who love live cooking, our Dosa and Paratha Live Station will feature fresh, made-to-order dosas, including Ghee Dosa, Pepper Dosa, and Vegetable Uttapam, alongside Malabar Paratha, Ghee Chapati and many other delicious options, served with a variety of Chutneys and Sambar. End your festive meal on a sweet note with indulgent desserts like Boondi Laddu, Rava Laddu, Carrot Halwa, and Semiya Payasam, perfectly capturing the essence of South Indian sweets.
To complement the celebratory atmosphere, The Kingsbury will feature the sensational band Murgesh, whose soulful sounds will fill Harbour Court with the spirit of Thai Pongal.
