TikTok to host #BookTok workshop at #GalleLitFest 2025

TikTok is bringing the excitement of #BookTok to the Galle Literary Festival with a workshop designed for Sri Lankan creators, book lovers, and literary enthusiasts.

Taking place on 9 February (Sunday) from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Halle de Galle, the session will explore how users can leverage TikTok to share their passion for books and storytelling through #BookTok.

BookTok refers to a vibrant community of book lovers on TikTok who share their thoughts on books through short, engaging videos using the hashtag #BookTok.
