Celebrating 75 years as Sri Lanka’s national zoo on 3 July 2011, the national zoological gardens of Sri Lanka, (more commonly known as Dehiwela zoo) continues to remain one of the city’s dearly loved attractions, drawing in a continuous stream of families, school children and foreign visitors.
